The production patterns in our current economy, the raw materials we use, the products we buy, their lifecycle, disposal and management are all aspects to be considered before we make an informed consumer's decision.

Today is a great opportunity to think about the ways our decisions impact:
the environment – oceans, forests, mountains, lakes and streams
the everyday life of other human beings who take part in the production, transportation, sale and waste management of the products we choose to buy and use
all other forms of life – animals, plants, fish and other organisms
...and make changes if needed.
